Slide tool: browser decks from plain HTML
The presentation system behind the talks on this site. One HTML file per talk, no dependencies, works offline — and written so that an AI coding assistant can build a complete deck from your paper.
What you get
Presenter view
Notes, timer, next slide; the audience window opens with P and lands on the beamer.
Live graphics
Canvas plots with sliders, computed in the browser, synchronised between both windows.
PDF → slides
tools/pdf2talk.sh turns any LaTeX/PowerPoint PDF into image slides with searchable notes.
Built for AI agents
The guides tell Claude Code, Codex or Cursor exactly which building blocks exist and how to check every slide.
How to use it with an AI assistant
Unzip, open the folder in your AI coding tool, attach your paper or slides, and paste:
Read SLIDES-GUIDE.md first and follow it exactly. Create a new talk in talks/<short-name>/index.html from the attached paper: 15–20 slides, one message per slide, at most 40 words per slide, speaker notes in data-notes that say what I will say. Use only the engine's building blocks. For the key result make a live canvas graphic with a slider in viz.js. Put figures in talks/<short-name>/bilder/. Then screenshot every slide at 1280×720 with tools/shot_slides.js and fix overflows.
Then open talks/<short-name>/index.html in a browser. To publish, copy engine/ and talks/ to any static web space.
Talks made with it
All decks under micromagnetism.com/vortrag/talks/ — some are password-protected for a meeting; the example talk above is open.
